The University of Galway have access to a wide range of databases via Proquest with databases across all subject areas including Education Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, History, Film and Media Studies, Literature, News and Newspapers.

At the end of the session, you will be able to:
• Perform Basic and Advanced searches on the ProQuest Platform
• Navigate the results page to successfully refine, discover, and extract meaningful content
• Recognize the different document views and corresponding tools for a variety of document formats including full-text, eBooks, and videos
• Save your documents and searches, and export to reference management systems
The session will take place virtually. The Teams meeting link will be emailed to attendees in advance.
The live session will be recorded and the recording will be emailed to all who register and can't attend the event.

About the Researcher Workshops
A series of workshops geared toward the needs of graduate students and staff researchers.
These events are organised by Rosie Dunne, Research Services Librarian. Rosie offers specialist expertise and information on the Library’s information resources. Her primary role is to support the research process, ensuring that researchers have the skills and knowledge to exploit fully the range of Library services and resources.
