Introduction to Network Analysis and Gephi

Introduction to Network Analysis and Gephi

This workshop will provide participants with a foundational understanding of network analysis concepts and techniques using Gephi, an open-source software for network visualisation. The session will cover the basics of networks, including nodes, edges and centrality metrics. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Gephi, learning how to import data and visualise complex networks.

The workshop is ideal for beginners — no prior experience required!

NB: Participants will need to bring their own laptop with Gephi installed and a GitHub account in advance of workshop. Download https://gephi.org/ and set up your GitHub account https://github.com/

A dataset will be provided, but participants are very welcome to bring their own data to play with.
