Octopus Workshop for Arts and Humanities researchers

Octopus Workshop for Arts and Humanities researchers In-Person / Online

Have you heard about Octopus.ac, the open publishing platform "designed to change the incentive structure within the research community"?

Join Octopus.ac founder Alexandra Freeman and product manager Tim Fellows for a workshop especially designed for Arts and Humanities researchers.

Alexandra and Tim will:

  • outline the main principles behind developing Octopus.ac
  • take us through a step-by-step interactive exercise to demonstrate the platform's capabilities
  • discuss how you will benefit from using this new tool in your research

The workshop will be delivered remotely; however, if you're on campus, please join us in the Archives and Special Collections Training Room.

If you have any questions or specific examples you would like to explore during the workshop, please email Dr. Jen Smith, Open Research Librarian.
