Fostering Good Research Practice through Integrity and Openness In-Person
This workshop will be co-presented by Dr. Ruth Dooley, Research Support Officer from the Research Office, and Dr. Jen Smith, Open Research Librarian. We will explore how to ensure research is conducted responsibly, and the integral importance of open research practices.
Through a combination of lecture elements, discussions, and small-group tasks, participants will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Be aware of the principles of good research practice as outlined in the updated European Code of Conduct
- Be familiar with University of Galway policies and procedures around GRP and Research Integrity
- Gain a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the breadth and depth of open research practices
- Know what open research resources are available at the University of Galway
