Network Analysis with Gephi In-Person / Online

This workshop will provide participants with a foundational understanding of network analysis concepts and techniques using Gephi, an open-source software for network visualisation. The session will cover the basics of networks, including nodes, edges and centrality metrics. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Gephi, learning how to import data and visualise complex networks. This workshop is ideal for beginners interested in leveraging network analysis for research or practical applications. The workshop is ideal for beginners — no prior experience required!

Prerequisites: Please download and install Gephi from the official website: https://gephi.org/ You will also need a GitHub account for the last part of the workshop (publishing an interactive graph online). A dataset will be provided — but you are very welcome to bring your own!
