3D Modelling with FreeCAD Online
FreeCAD is an open-source parametric 3D modeller made to design real-life objects of any size. You can easily create and adjust models to fit a wide range of uses including product design, mechanical engineering, and architecture.
In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of FreeCAD and come away with the knowledge you need to design your own models.
This workshop will be held remotely so be sure to download FreeCAD on your laptop ahead of time. You can also use one of the MakerSpace PCs which already have FreeCAD installed.
The workshop will be delivered via Teams by Dr Kevin Moerman, a computational mechanics and design expert, and a lecturer in the school of engineering at NUI Galway.
